Lovely old Burgundy. This bottle is deep ruby, no bricking, with a light bit of seepage probably on the cork. Just the lightest hints of barnyard or funk - very clean red berry with more hints of leather and wet saddle than earth or truffle. Has a certain weight on the palate with still some dust on the finish.
