Concha y Toro
Reserva Privada Casillero del Diablo Maipo Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Maipo Valley, Central Valley, Chile
Deep ruby glass with translucent Crimson rim. Medium nose of cassis, blackberry, leather, tobacco, anise, and pencil box/shavings. High acidity to the palate with full bodied, hot presentation of blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate, anise, and tobacco. Big soft tannins with slightly bitter grip leads to long finish of dark cocoa and black pepper. Very good value at $13.48 USD for this well balanced and structured red meat friend. Tannins will mellow and improve with two years in bottle.

Very bold wine at first but opened up with time and provided a compelling and pervasive finish!

Jan 3rd, 2016Its pretty good as a second bottle , after you finish a good one. Tasting it sober, I was like ughh. Would never buy it again
