Bourbon Barrel Aged Cellarmaster Select Red Wine Blend

Overly perfumed for me. High alc. Feels like borderline dessert wine.

It’s like drinking whisky with a wine finish. No beuno!

What I really liked about this wine was nothing. It’s almost more a light port or sherry than a red wine. I think it’s probably better to cook with than eat with, but some may like this style.

2016 Vintage. Fun bottle.

Having this after a long day, sitting by a fire. The atmosphere is perfect but this is not my cup of tea.

I feel it’s the vanilla that is throwing the taste off for me. Not feeling it.

There's a lot going on here, definitely get the spicy/smoky bourbon-y vanilla notes. Very in your face, I don't hate it, but it's a lot

Lowkey spicy... strong vanilla notes. Aged in bourbon barrels so the smokiness is definitely present. Pretty rich but not as smooth as I thought it would be.

Wonderful aromas of smokiness. The vanilla really comes through in this vintage. Was served chilled by a restaurant, still very pleasing. Looking froward to try again at room temperature.
