Very tasty. Gold, medium weight. Restraint. Bright Flinty Mineral. Zero butter. A tiny bit of toast on the finish. A little bound up upon opening. Gets really nice about an hour in. Vineyard is in Anderson Valley. Wells Guthrie is a very talented winemaker. Pretty sure this was his last vintage at Copain.

This wine was a gift, in more ways than one...We are always on the lookout for husky Chardonnays without the butter. This Anderson Valley wine does the appellation proud, another bottle you will serve with pride, and enjoy on your own. It is smooth on the palette, full of flavor without a hint of burn. We served with broiled salmon and it was fantastic with the food, the flavors of both the food and the wine blossoming with each sip and bite. Our new house white.
