This is not the most complex wine in the world, but it’s clean and true and aged perfectly. 12.9% made by Wells Guthrie. My local shop is selling it marked down from $40 to $20. F’n A

Really well balanced. Cherry compote, some funk, a bunch of baking spice in the end, also a spearmint or eucalyptus essence, a bit of sweet strawberry. Overall tasting great at 6 years.
