Really phenomenal example of what Napa cab should be. Only gotten more beautiful with age. Warm stewed black fruits, soft vanilla tannins, great acid integration

25 year old Cabernet that showing tons of life. Bright fruit intertwined with elegance and balance. Subtle mushroom and forest floor. Medium tannins and long finish.

Family in town for Christmas and decided to pull a really great one. Elegant Napa wine. Love Cathy Corison wines. Beautiful example of what a Napa cab should be. Perfection.

Dec 26th, 2019Deep dark red/purple color. Licorice, black currant and black fruit. A hint of earth/graphite on the finish. Decanted for about one hour. Amazing how much fruit is still present with this wine. Smooth and elegant. Paired perfectly with a ribeye. This year is drinking perfectly. Drank on February 25, 2018.

This was really nice. Not a big bold explosive nor thick dark cab. Mellow and subdued which is Cathy's style. Pretty close in color to the 2013, perhaps slightly more brick red. Has a bit of raisin flavor and a little funk. Aged really nicely and a lot of subtle complex flavors shining through. This is a delicious though mellow wine. Not exactly our style and we probably wouldn't buy it. Tasted with Kylah at the Corison winery in May 2016.
