Gran Teran Istria Refosco

Eight years after the vintage... On the nose, this is cranberry and raspberry... On the palate, raspberry syrup, cranberry/cherry concentrate... Smoke? Earth? Mushroom? The tannins are very present. Powerful but not rough. Long finish. Pepper.

Deep flavours, dark colour, strong long lasting aftertaste. Great with red meat, even stronger pairings (for me) such as fillet steak and blue cheese
