Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Very ripe cab. Definitely at peak maturity here. You can start to taste the age on this wine just a liiiitle bit. But, the nose has a floral tang to it which makes this one a bit unique from the other bottles on the table. This wine has good black fruit notes on the front and middle. Finishes with a dark chocolate note and a resolved tannin that does not obscure the finish. From the start to the finish, most interesting wine on the table. Makes you think for sure.

Celia crafts beautiful, elegant wines with a wonderful sense of place and an inherent grace. If you have the chance to drink any of her wines don't let it get away! This cab is fruit driven and definitely classic California, but has the elegance, poise and balance that set it apart from other Napa wines. From the nose to the taste to the finish, you will love every aspect of this wine. Cheers!

Lighter style. Not enough structure but the fruit is pure

Classic Napa cab!! Dark currant, leather and mocha on the nose. Black fruit predominates on the palate.. Still a youngster with nice tannins. Looking forward to more from my cellar. Drinking great two days after opening - maybe even a little mellowed out.

A very nice wine with a load of fruit, silky tannins, and a long finish. Just a pop a pour tonight with Bison osso buco. Celia makes such pretty wines. This will have a very long life and I am looking forward to this over the next few hours.

Very soft

Wow! Really soft and approachable. If you like your Cali cabs primary but with integrated tannins (and I do!), then drink up!

In a sweet spot right now. But not as good as the 2006 Casa Piena we had last night.
