Ripe fruit with a noticeable fruit forward characteristic that gives it a hedonist's dream of Chianti. Not enough acidity to balance the wine making it a good candidate as an aperitif or paired with fruitier dishes.

Enjoyed this bottle on Baker Beach. Little of of the traditional Sangiovese spice, with plenty of fruit to make it an easy cocktail wine.
