Slightly bitter but opens up

2016 vintage

Pale garnet, aromas of cranberry, strawberry, cough syrup, cedar, and black cherry. Dry, high acid, medium + tannins, medium + body, palate full of woodsy and red fruit notes, a little herbaceousness. Medium + finish. Delicious served slightly cold with grilled salmon.
