Garnet medium intensity. Herbs, spearmint, fossils on the nose. Dry, medium plus alc, medium plus acidity, medium bodied. Sour cherry, herbs, on the palate. Tannins are chalky and drying. Long nice finish. This will of course greatly improve. But certainly drinkable now.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two hours. It’s been almost a year since my last visit with the 2018 vintage and it’s in a very pretty spot right now. All notes previously apply though I should point out that the florals are especially showy right now. The nose is simply beautiful to experience. The fruit remains fresh and mostly red fruited. The structure is still firm. Very, very easy to enjoy on its own or with a meal. Drink now through 2038+. — 10 days ago

Been waiting a long time to open this baby. When first obtained it was completely closed and almost undrinkable. Aromas have fully opened, like sweet flowers and a hint of caramel. Tannins are waaay softer, durable but give nice structure to the wine. Blackberry, oak, medjool dates. — 2 days ago

On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with notes of herb pepper, floral and earthy notes. Tasted blind . Medium garnet , more terracotta rim . More closed on the nose , some sweet cherry and cedar , orange rind and touch of anise . This is again quite fresh on the palate , some cherry and cedar , cut herbs , anise . Pretty grippy tannins . Reasonable length with good strawberry , raspberry , liquorice tinged finish . Needs a little more time , better in a couple of years and will last well a further 5-10. — a month ago
