Well balanced and fruity. Reminds me of Apothic. Tasted at Taste of Hudson.

I think this wine was aptly named. When I first opened it, it was closed off/mysterious, some dark fruit and tannins, but not much more. Then, I let it aerate over night and wow! It changed so much! On the nose bright red fruit, lilac, black licorice and oak. On the palate juicy strawberry, plum, lavender, and a full tobacco finish. Definitely very cryptic until you get to know this wine!

Really different! Had a 91 or rating at the wine store. Raspberry flavors and jam, smooth on the palate, lighter body, dark purple with rich tannins. We enjoyed ours with filet minion. Something we couldn't find back home. To our buddy who introduced us to delectable: " all hail the great conch shell."
