Ripe and fruity with blackberry notes - not really what I was expecting from a Malbec. However I almost don't care what it tastes like because the bottle is so damn pretty...

The best part of this wine was the great raisiny smell. The wine itself is a little watery - but does improve after being left open. . Definitely let it sit for an hour or so in a decanter- running it through an aerator is not enough to open it up. Medium body, medium tannins , cherry / currant/ plum/ raisin, a little spice. Vanilla and oak emerge after you let it air out for a long while. (TBH Probably wont buy again - but you can do worse!)
