Rich and vibrant. Very young. Showing strong oak. Still, the terroir shows through. Needs years to integrate but drinking well now with grilled Magret de canard and similar meats that can absorb the sweet oak. Improves with 24 hours of air.

This was outstanding! From the dark ruby color, delightful memory inducing nose, to the well balanced taste and long pleasant finish, this one’s a winner. Very enjoyable.

Dill, vanilla, clove, anise, and juicy berries on the noise. Ripe, balanced, and lifted acidity. New American oak is fairly present here, but a great wine!
