Dark, drinks more like a Pinot, structured, drying tannins, dark red fruits, blackberries, savoury, meaty, smokey, mineral, tense acidity. Delicious. First Bouland, from old vines. Really liking this wine - great value too.
Update: Few days later, the aromas have changed. So floral, the nose is seriously intoxicating!

Vacation wine night 2. A portrait of balance between elegance and power. Fresh and inviting fruit with detailed texture on the palate.

Jun 14th, 2017Very different than Delys which I had earlier... could probably use a year or two in the bottle .. typical Morgon expressions with the fruit and fleshless.. I just find this one to end on sweeter note ... interesting for a gamay!
