I’ve had some inconsistencies with these Decoys bottles but this one holds up. Presents as a typical cab to me with a bit more sweetness.

Deep ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, spearmint and cocoa. Bright blue and dark fruit on the palate, nice black tea tannin finish.

Big fan of Decoy. Not a lot of information from the smell in my opinion. Tastes first of plum followed by dark berries and finished with a woody almost tobacco taste. Just the right amount of light tannins to add a pleasant sophistication to the wine.
