Apr 13th, 2025I don’t know if Sabine Deisen is still making wine, but she was an incredible character when I met her years ago on her farm. Artist/landscaper w/some type of science background: she was making serious juice: all her wines are PURE, velvety, elegant, balanced w/gorgeous concentration & expression. This Mataro was no different. All the black & blue fruit was liqueur like, just absolutely fantastic. Seamless and endless.
