I brought in this wine to my store after it was placed on a closeout by one of my distributors. After trying it for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised. While the bottle notes emphasize the inspiration of the wine coming from Provence, this does not strike me at all similar to that area. Instead, this is a lovely example of the power and depth of new world blends. Very dark toned wine with rich chocolate, blueberry and cinnamon notes.
