2015 vintage. A very fine Castillon by Denis Durantou ( of Eglise-Clinet fame). Better the second day, so you might want to decant. Totally outperforming stablemate Les Cruzelles ( Lalande de Pomerol), tasted alongside. Good red fruit concentration, balancing the typical Castillon chalkiness. 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.Abv. 14,5%

Great right out of the bottle. If it improves I will be even more impressed. Time to tag the wife.

Great structure. Finish is slightly too hot and needed hours in the decanter to become more cohesive. Fruit is ripe, but balanced.

Tight as can be, opened a bottle to taste of the case I bought. Will be epic in ten years
