Clearly my girlfriend has not been reading my Delectable notes, because she bought me a Malbec. Once again, I paired this one with a steak and it truly is an excellent wine. However, I could not get through the whole glass as these heavy, intense wines are just not for me. However, I have tried other Malbecs from outside of Mendoza, and I know that if I were to order a Malbec in the future, it would have to be from Mendoza. Love the blackberry notes that region produces, just a bit heavy.
