My continued quest to try as many 2022 Burgundies as possible.

The nose is darkish fruits & brooding with light earth tones & dark, withering florals.

Nice body and fresh, fruit entry on the palate. Dark cherries, poached strawberries, blackberries & some black raspberries. Shows dry, fine tannins. Dark, rich forest floor with dry leaves, herbaceous notes-bay leaf sticks out, dark refined spice, dry, grey volcanic clays, dry limestone power, some dark, steeped tea, light red cola, barrel shaving powder, bright red and dark florals, nice acidity and an elegant, balanced finish. Again, lacks some complexity at this stage. Perhaps, with more time it shows more complexity? Cellaring is in order here.
