Oct 2nd, 2021Nose has warmed strawberry, tangerine, apricots and wet roses. Quite expressive tonight, marked improvement from our prior several months earlier.
Palate has under-ripe strawberry, cool Clementine slice, (light) fresh cherries and wet slate. Nice acidity and refreshing finish. Decanted 90m.
Truly, Summer in the glass on a beautiful evening.

On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the the Boston Pops Orchestra. Our Conductor Keith Lockhart is leading an all John WILLIAMS program, with Mr. Williams (hopefully) sharing some of his wonderful stories to accompany the scores.
The program includes selections from..Superman, Heidi, Jaws, The Towering Inferno, Memoirs of a Geisha Oliver, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Olympic Fanfare & Theme, JFK, Schindler's List, The Witches of Eastwick, Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Empire Strikes Back, The Force Awakens and...Star Wars. So to say we're going to be well versed into the JW catalog will be the understatement of the evening for sure!!!

Pretty cool pic if I must say so myself. Nose is so good. So ebullient. But also very deep. Strawberries, cherry. So so Pinot and so gorgeous. Spice. Cream pie I love this nose. Better than last bottle. Palate is so good. Deep, structured and so pretty. Amazing fruit and length. So pure and sappy but also delicate and suave. What a balancing act this does. Textured and ripe and so well made. What a wine. What a showing. Mind bending. This is a great wine that happens to be a rose.

Fresh and coy. Strawberry fruit that’s generous but shows pleasant dryness and restraint. Amazingly, this is uniquely (for a rosé), expressive as burgundy pinot. Quite substantial; I think it would age wonderfully.

Great showing. Got 3 in the house for some reason so needed to taste one. Nose is gorgeous white and rainer cherries. Floral lift as well. Lovely mineral lift too. Palate is so lush. Concentrated and deep. Really the deepest version of this wine yet. Crazy depth and chewy but silky texture and a finish that just builds and builds. Amazing density and palate presence. So pure. Wow. This is awesome.

Love seeing all the Fass gang reviews of this micro production burgundy rosé. We can only concur. Lovely & evocative, gorgeous fruit. Apple, strawberry, creamy texture. Fabulous. A great non-rosé rosé.
