Light gold color, youthful. Cochey nose. Notes of match stick and petrol, citrus fruit, some gravel and dry dirt, and some tan spice. Rich and glycerol in the mouth. Lots of fruit and acidity. Missing a little in the mid palate but overall great stuff.

Aug 11th, 2021Light straw gold. Killer Coche nose. Notes of lemon, petroleum jelly, crushed stone, apricot and tan spice. Sharp acidity, with suitable fruit and weight to build the overall experience. A great village wine that is just finding its groove at age 20.

Magnum 2000 Coche Dury Mersault. Dinner at T w neighbors. First white, alongside the '07 Leflaive Batard Montrachet out of magnum. Both great, but very different. I preferred this over the Leflaive by a long shot. Great to drink alone or with food.
