I Love going to a wine shop where I can have a great conversation with one of the Wine Merchants, and earlier today I experienced just that! This great conversation included the wine merchants recommendation: A 2011 Domaine de Fenouillet Terres Blanches Beaumes-de-Venise hailing from Southern Rhône- 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre . I am loving this wine right now! This is another clear example of why I have become a huge Rhône fan! Needless to say, this was a great recommendation. Color-deep ruby with a black cherry background Nose- crushed berries, cool wet stones, and pepper flakes. Palate- berries, dark fruits, very soft texture, with soft tannins, and some sweet spice on the end.
