A very enjoyable right Bank Bordeaux. Showing red and black fruits with earth, wet leaves, herbs and peppercorn.

Full bodied and bold with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Grippy finish with hugh tannins.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up. After 3 hours it is very tannic.

Showing nice complexity and mouthfeel, and will age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.

Surprise. Decently priced for such silky, chocolate berry goodness.

Light, fragrant fruity nose initially. This 2008 is smooth as can be on the palate at first and then drops off. Perhaps paired with a sharp cheese, the flavor would express itself more.

After it opened up and sat for 30-45 minutes it really opened up, was deep, smooth and balanced.
