Mar 12th, 2023Ordered off the list at The Compound in Santa Fe. Deep dark brooding color. Has the funk in the nose. Notes of bright fruit, bing cherry, forest floor, sliced mushrooms and smoked meat. Could easily be guessed as old world given its style and funk. With air it blossoms and shows its full peacock. Really good juice. My first de la Cote wine and certainly not my last.
