Nov 10th, 2016DRC La Tache 1990: explosive nose delivering LT’s kaleidoscope of Asian spices, clove, earth. Deep flavor, everything in balance, velvet fans out on the finish. Simply one of the best wines ever made.

Nov 7th, 2016The rating scale goes up to 10 for wines like this. Insanely enchanting nose. Reminded me of smelling a perfectly cooked duck drizzled with pomegranate reduction. More aromatic inspection leads to rose water, hibiscus, subtle dried oak leaves and so many more tiny lovely things. Bright, vibrant but not sharp, this is the definition of great wine. Mind blown!

Feb 16th, 2016The nose was beautiful here... roses, cassis and berries... very balanced... at first was clearly ahead of the 95 Rousseau Chambertin. As time went by palate started to thin out...
