You have got to be kidding me.!
Slight bricking, but the rest appears like a 15 yr old example. Nose has cloves, charcoal, leather and faint minerality. Platte is soft, elegant and smooth. Mid palette displays tobacco, dill, along with a velvet texture. Finishes with a whisper. I personally bow to the burgundy winemakers.

Now we're talking! A vintage lost by following the monumental 1971. This was truly spectacular and one of the most complete wines, not just Burgundy, I've had in awhile. Amazing length, gobs of wet earth and crushed ripe raspberries and black cherries, and that wonderful hint of salinity you get as you swirl the wine across your tongue.

A legion of legend. Old but still a glorious army.

A lovely slightly aged nose with forest floor, soft round red fruit. A bit cloudy but great depth of flavor. On the palate, a lovely soft and settled palate. Like a cashmere hug- still a bit stinky. Very good. After reveal... la tache. Wow

Seriously? @Martin G Rivard This is ethereal, showing a fair amount of red fruit, along with earthy mushrooms. The finish is extraordinary, there still is enough acidity to feel in your cheeks. Wow.
