This was paired with crispy duck/roasted local vegetables/quinoa golden raisin peach chutney/cider reduction

sure winner, wonderful, a crowd pleaser

Had the 2018 in August of 2021. Was an okay wine. Needed to sit a bit and open up. Dark fruits on the tongue but some harsh bitter notes on the nose. Not sure I would reach for this one again.

This CdR from Domaine de l'Espigouette is one of my favorite wines for the money. Makes a great house red
