If the $12 jugs of "Red Burgundy" at the supermarket tasted like this, I would never buy anything else.

Aromatic purity in Volnay. Accessible in its infancy. With hallowed neighbors like Arlot, and DRC, this biodynamic powerhouse in the Côte de Beaune grabs the bull by the horns. Seldom is tradition so grand. -DM

Burger & burgundy sundays. Brilliant.

Dark cherries, berries, flowers and spices in a medium bodied, low octane and elegant burgundy red. Great now.

Great. Vibrancy, nose and smoothness. A bit dark fruit. Very nice.

Fine, should've consumed the 2011 a while ago, but nothing great at this point. Tannins mellowed but no length - not sure what it would've been a couple years ago.

For the money one of the best Bourgogne's on the market. Then again everything that Montille does is great.
