Rouge Vin de Pays des Bouches-du-Rhône Cabernet-Syrah Blend

One of my favorite wines. Looking forward to see how this one ages. Older vintages better.

2008. Trevallon. Bouches des Rhone. Black olive and raspberry with cassis and earthy/herbal (garrigue) undertones. Deeeeeelicious.

Predictably young, but still so delicious.

Pure primary fruit on absolute top. Perfectly mature in a way. Very drinkable.

Strong profile of berries and hard candy but not sweet at all and beautifully balanced.

Absolutely delicious. Recommend by the sommelier. Definitely pricey. But very special.
