Definitely a thinking wine. Reduced, but it opens up in the glass to reveal classic Chenin honeyed aromas. I'm not convinced by Baumard's all-screwcap policy - this wine would probably show better at the moment under cork (which may or may not be true in 10 years - but I'm not waiting around to find out.)

Very nice, mineral Savenniers. Pleasant bitter almond, just missing a bit of that gun flint that you can get in Savenniers.

Yum. Honey mixed with funk. Carmel, floral, citrus and mineral. Screw cap may have a reductive effect, but still a nice wine.
