๐Ÿ‘ Garnet
๐Ÿ‘ƒ Licorice, honey BBQ sauce, leather, vanilla
๐Ÿ‘… Medicinal, stewed black fruits - prunes, black cherries, strawberries. Medium tannins, medium body, long finish.
โœ๏ธ๏ธ Complex, but not necessarily memorable.

Very disappointing 2013 bottle. The winery says 2013 was a difficult year but still produced a good wine. Not in this bottle. Very thin and smelt off.

Pale ruby. Medium intensity aroma. Red berries: red currant, cherry and wild strawberry. Muscular, but light aromas of forest, gentle oak. Good acidity, lively tannins and medium body. Vibrant flavors of ripe cherry and red currant support the nose. Grapes for this village AOP wine are harvested from 8 different parcels (4 ha) owned by Drouhin family in Gevrey-Chambertin. Wine is close to its peak but can benefit from cellaring for couple more years. Beautiful style and character of G-Ch. Rating 3,9/5
