A fun wine, rustic in character with some harsh flavors. Acidic in flavor and aroma lacks elegance. But different from the usual wine. Good for summer picnics.

My first Mansois, aka Fer Servadou from the tiny VDQS north of Toulouse (161 hectares /400 acres). Raspberry, brambly aromas follow through to the palate which is a bright hello that mellows softly.

Floral yet chemical nose, like violet candy but somehow lovely nonetheless. Soft and supple with a little southwestern spice. Good balance of diverse elements.
