All that I adore in a great Red #Burgundy #pinotnoir
Deep Burgundy red in color, the nose is elegantly dense, with a sous bois, savory braised beef, wet earth, bing cherries, all pulsating with energy and life, with just a hint of tertiary. The palate shows it's one flaw, the chewy and slightly gritty tannin. Otherwise the acidity and flavors are on point, the length and energy are classic+.

Big burly wine with enough time to have relaxed a bit but still has a stand up structure. And noticeable spice.

Perfect maturity..... can probably still age a bit, although I’m not sure it would get materially better. Took a bit of time to open fully, but the wait was well worth it. Red fruits of course, dry tannins in the background. Lovely.

An appealing nose led to disappointment on the palate, pure acid. Sadly, this bottle was over the hill.
