Domaine Faiveley (Joseph Faiveley)
Clos des Myglands Mercurey 1er Cru Pinot Noir
The nose is all jammy sweet cherry and mixed berry coulis. The palate is a nice balance of fresh wild cherry, earth, cedar, and strawberry. A bit of grip let’s you know this is a single vineyard Mercurey. Finishes bright with pleasant acidity. Really well executed. Drink this up now or hold onto it for another 5 years.

Jan 3rd, 2018Cherry and barnyard on the nose. Palate is fruit forward and delicate, with red berries and wet soil. I think this would hold up for a few more years in the cellar.
