So much earth you might as well be gardening. But gives you want you want from a well structured '12. Nuits Classic. Cranberry fruit leather the only fruit nuance I'm getting.

Rich, sappy dark fruits, energetic with savory spice, earth, menthol & mineral.

This was really singing tonight showing rich dark cherry fruits with a deep core of mineral, sweet spice & perfumed floral notes. Rich, deep on the palate showing good balance & length.

This had lush, sappy black cherry, berry fruits that was dense with good balance, mineral & spice

This had lots of energy with rich sappy black cherry, berry fruits, crushed rock, forest floor, dried herbs & floral notes. Med bodied & approachable that will keep developing.

This bottle really packs a punch. Blind I would have guessed new world pinot though it’s more restrained. Crunchy red fruit and candies cherries. The nose really jumps out and it’s in a great spot!

Still very youthful with great potential that needs to shed its tannic hard edges & needs more time to settle. I would give it a few more years before opening another btl.

Pretty wine, rich & expressive with layers of berry fruits, spice, mineral & violets. Yum!

Young, but drinking so well with beautiful, pure, dark red cherry fruit. Nice tartness with that Morey earth in the background. No one in Burgundy captures such pure and delicious fruit flavors like Fourrier does. Can't wait to try the next bottle 5 years down the road.
