2008 vintage. Pure, balanced and exceptional - brilliant representation of what makes Pinot Noir so intriguing. Didn't expect such a knockout for the evening...

May 23rd, 2015Was a bit disappointed. Forest floor, wet leaves, fungal aroma. The concentration doesn't feel like a 1er cru

Feb 22nd, 2017Decanted, drank over 3hrs. Improved a lot with air. Beautiful nose with roses, some citrus, pomegranate, cranberry and a soft touch of toast/clove. On the palate, soft and forward with loads of soft red fruit, and nice minerality...light bodied at first, but builds in density. Softly tannic at first, but builds in intensity and ends tangy and tannic. This is drinking well right now, but reminded me more of Oregon than Burgundy...
Day 2: This is just disappointing today. On the nose, an attenuated version of yesterday, and similar on the palate. Either this bottle is off, or drink up.
