Loved this wine. Poured the 2010 at SWC last year and it was horribly tainted with mercaptans and fizz. So much better when it hasn't gone bad. Still slightly reductive but opened up beautifully

New Year’s eve eve felt like the right time to open. Lots of garrigue, olive and dark florals in the nose. Intensely savory body, sweet tobacco, dark berry notes. A serious drinking, brow-wrinkling wine, but not heavy or cloying. Can’t wait to try it in two days.

I absolutely loved this wine at this stage. It was very well balanced ... A bit animal but great depth.
