Domaine Guillaume Sorbe
Le Gamay des Pöete
An example of where my taste is anti-trend: I usually don't like gamay. Make the vines produce for over a century and put it in the Loire, however, and it produces a savory and fresh wine that is so mineral it's almost smokey, but you can still taste loads of crushed rock nicely complemented by hibiscus-berry tea and laser acidity with just enough tannin to (maybe?) make you realize this is a red wine. More please!
