Clos du Bourg Sec Vouvray Chenin Blanc

This is likely JUST entering a peak drinking window, and still on the upward trajectory. Killer aromatics of lemon meringue, crushed rock, and something reminiscent of a grilled lemon/citrus fruit. Acidity is still gripping, though not overpowering, with a slightly sweeter back palate and finish. Reminds me of a candied lemon drop with poached pear and ginger.
