Sublime, as always. Slightly more racy and linear than the 2016 Le Mont Sec, but possessing a deceptive degree of richness and depth. Searing acid, lemon pith and tart Anjou pear. Herbal tea and wet rock minerality. Delicate yet intense. Another classic. Thanks to my friends at Rare Wine Company for sourcing this when it was seemingly impossible to find in the U.S. for 2016.
