Le Mont Sec Vouvray Chenin Blanc

Some oxy and aldehydic character, but freshened up well enough. Giving this the benefit of the doubt.

McIntosh apple, crisp pear, citrus. Underlying honey. Crushed flower. Hot cereal. Steel wool. Medium plus acid. Didn't get the chiseled mineral. Thinner texture that developed after a few hours. I think it could use a little time to settle.

Delicious.... Maybe I'm rating it to low.

Domaine Huet - Le Mont - 2012 - Vouvray - Chenin Blanc- well balanced and good structure. Aromas/Flavors: lemon/apples/pears - I heard too much about this wine therefore I had to try it! You know what I am a little bit disappointed. I was expecting much more aroma and spice for a Vouvray. Good wine but not exceptional.

And this is why we drink Chenin Blanc.
