Terrific nose with some framing oak that will blow off with air. Deep cherry, some dark red cherry, mineral, earth, spice and some florals. Huge palate impact with gorgeous fruit. Unreal fruit and buffered by very good acidity and a fine, slippery texture. Just terrific fruit clarity and precision with lovely spice that echoes on the finish. Some mint and menthol coming in on the nose but this needs more air. Will be back. Really wonderful finesse here as well. As this airs the fruit gets silkier and sweeter. 23 more and more reminding me of 19 once it gets proper aeration.
