Perfect provenance, showed really well though these whites aren't for everyone. Was a hit as pairing with butternut squash soup. Also tried the1988 from same cellar tonight. Very similar, 1988 edged it out a bit. Very saline, silky, rich but structured palate. Very, very long. Serious wine.
