Excellent and beautiful. Low acid compared to all of these Burgundies!

The nose displays an amazing litany of aromas. Lanolin, lemon curd, pear skin, nectarine are accented by allspice, white pepper and just a slight oxidative hint. The wine has superb texture. The flavors are of pear, candied orange peel, ginger and bitter almond. There is great intensity on the finish. The wine continues to blossom with air. It appears at its peak in terms of aging but shows no signs of declining over the next few years.
