Subtle, lush and gorgeously open. Soft raspberry, underbrush and resolved fruit. This is aged wine at its apex. So gentle and complete. Astonishing given its age.

1962 vintage. La Romanee from Leroy. Browning. Wow. Great nose. Saddle leather, earthy and truffle oil. Black fruit. Huge concentration on the palate, cutting acidity. Huge length. Very layered. Fabulous.
