When you see DRC on the label it’s difficult not to have preconceptions. The nose pops with red cherries ,stems and spice. The palate is hit with weighty red and black fruit which carries a healthy dose of acid. Surprisingly lacked the complexity and finish I was hoping for from a vintage like this let alone the producer. — 2 months ago
retty and powerful fruit on the nose. Rose and redcurrant and plum with noticeable oak. Good but a little drying on the finish and muscular. The oak is a bit much. — 23 days ago
Simply brilliant! 2 hours slow ox and drank over the next three aromatically a bit dark, nose of tar, tobacco, dried rose petals wonderfully beautifully mid palate brilliantly balanced the wine is simply amazing! — 25 days ago
Medium dark rubi robe, nose of crushed flowers, anise and dark berries. Very reticent in the mouth and developed over time. Complex and elegant, lots of potential. Should decant a couple of hours if you intend to drink before 2030. — a month ago
Off the chain. This RSV is elegant in every way with nice floral hints on the nose and velvety texture on the palate. Nice medium to longish finish. A real treat from a friend that is a self described “Burgundy-snob.” Maybe a very generous Burgundy snob. His mother taught him to share. — a month ago
Cherry confit nose with balsamic violets. Soy attack. Some energy and firm tannin (from oak?). Beautiful finish. — 2 months ago

Drinking well with its dark cherry, berry fruits, a strong core of mineral, spice with earth & violet — 12 days ago
