Medium deep ruby garnet with wide garnet rim . Open and classic on the nose with tobacco , grafite , herbal , mint , seaweed and some mixed summer fruits . On the palate this is quite fresh and slightly lean in style , quite rustic , bitty tannins and a herbal touch. Mixed summer fruits on the mid palate and a reasonable earthy tobacco tinged finish . Medium ruby , garnet rim. Quite open and fruit driven nose , cherry , strawberry , earthy porcini. On the palate this is still quite fruit driven red cherry , raspberry , velvety mouthfeel and rounded tannin , fresh acidity, good length. Quite intense with quite primary , fruit forward , cherry , raspberry . Well balanced and fresh . Though really enjoyable will probably improve over the next 5-8 years . Medium pale straw . Lightly Smokey citrus with white flowers and some reductive stuck match character . On the palate quite intense and very well balanced with fresh acidity and good extract . Still quite young with citrus dominating , some light mineral hints in the background and a good herbal tinged finish . Very good now but can surely age well a further 5 years . Medium light lemon yellow . Quite exuberant and open , ripe citrus and yellow fruits , seashell and crushed rocks . On the palate this is quite rich but with good mineral acidity . Citrus and white fruits , chalky hints . Long , vibrant and well balanced on the palate , perfect now but also showing quite young , can go further another 5 years at least . Medium garnet with a medium garnet rim. This is quite closed at first , after a sweet spice and sweet , quite heady mix of strawberry , raspberry , dark cherry, menthol and a meaty , porcini note . On the palate this is quite sweet and juicy , with raspberry , smoky cherries and strawberry , and the menthol , liquorice hints . Quite grippy but ripe tannins and balanced acidity . Slightly heady alcohol but the sheer intensity of the wine leaves it balanced . Good summer fruit , spiced liquorice tinged finish . Needs a bit of time , probably better in 5 years and will continue well for a further 5 to 10 , maybe longer . — 5 days ago

Medium lemon , light copper hue . Some light but persistent bubbles still. This is quite serious and rich on the nose , with some orange rind , walnut , touch of mushroom and meaty , soy hints . Quite rich , intense and dense on the palate but with good freshness still , long with orange rind and walnut. Perfect now and over the next 5 years or so . Medium lemon yellow , though within expectations for a 22 year old white Burgundy . Touches of smoky butter , lemon peel, red apple , ginger, chalky with wet stones and a touch of hazelnut . Complex , open and inviting on the nose , some development but still quite fresh and lively . On the palate this is intense with good grip , again showing the freshness from the nose , lemon peel , chalky , touch of white peach, sea breeze and lightly toasty finish . Long refreshing, mineral tinged finish . Perfect now , though benefits from air , becoming more mineral and focused with time and will continues to show well over the next 5 -8 years , maybe longer . — 5 days ago

Medium ruby , medium wide ruby rim , youthful colour . Quite open and fruit forward with quite high toned cassis , grafite tinged blackberry , and an earthy , dusty character . On the palate quite round and generous but well balanced , sweet blackberry, blackcurrant fruit with the grippy grafite tannins and enough freshness . Reasonable length sweet cassis , with a grafite and herbal tinged finish . Drinking well now , though obviously youthful , will probably to continue to show well over the next 10 years or so.
