This was the first bottle of wine I ever purchased in a restaurant. It was a Mediterranean joint in SoHo that after a certain hour turned in to a hookah bar & legit nightclub. Pairing-wise, this actually paired fairly well with all the garlic, olive & herb-centric food. It was 2006, there is a photo of me dancing on a table with a bottle of this in my hand & all things considered, I'm pretty stoked that this is how I started my adventure in wine!
